Calidrio

Calidrio is a charming, bloodline stallion who combines his large frame and athletic appearance with exuberant jumping ability. He immediately fulfilled the hopes placed in him as the clear winner of his 70-day test with the highest jumping score (8.99) of the test group as well as a dressage performance of 8.28. Versatile, he also presents himself excellently in the one- and two-in-hand. His foal crops were very popular: noble, long-legged and typey with energetic movements, they won numerous premiums and qualified for the German Sport Horse Foal Championships in Neustadt (Dosse). In the meantime, they are also successfully attracting attention in tests for young show jumpers. For the 2016 Showcase of the Best, Calidrio presented Cardino Ass, a highly regarded licensed son.

His sire Calido is one of Germany's top show jumping sires with a large number of licensed sons, state premium mares as well as advanced (S) level successful show jumpers. The most famous of them is Coupe de Coeur - two-time German champion in show jumping under René Tebbel. The dam H-Escada comes from the Holstein line 844 and brings the desired blood connection via Exorbitant xx. A half-sister to Calidrio produced the Holstein licensed stallions Stakkadetto and Darius as well as Calina LU, who was successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions. Three further offspring of H-Escada are already successful at advanced level. The line has already produced many performance horses, such as the internationally known Celentano under Thieß Luther, Easy Going under Inga Czwalina as well as the licensed stallions Askido, Landaris and Limulus.
