Damontez is a noble black stallion with perspective for the large arena and a lot of talent for collected lessons. In addition, he is characterized by his beyond all doubt interior. In the 2020 show season, Damontez and his rider Friederike Maas were victorious in medium (M) level dressage tests for young horses and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. This was followed in 2021 by placings in medium (M) level dressage competitions. From his first foal crop in 2019, he immediately produced the incredibly strong-moving champion foal of the dressage-accented fillies of the Brandenburg-Anhalt Horse Breeding Association as well as other championship foals.
Damontez's sire Damon Hill was double World Champion of young dressage horses, Olympic medalist and World Team Champion. He produces top athletes, state premium and champion mares, auction tops, champion foals, federal champions and licensed stallions. Both dam PBM Lovely Lady and granddam PBM Cantarella are highly successful in advanced level dressage competitions themselves. The dam's sire, Lord Loxley, is in a class of his own in terms of sport and breeding. As a 6-year-old, he was Bundeschampion and Vice-World Champion of young dressage horses and later won up to Intermediaire I. He is also the sire of several Bundeschampions and licensed stallions. The great-granddam Charade, descended from Cleverboy, who was successful in advanced (S) level show jumping and medium (M) level dressage, produced the licensed stallion Gachino, who was successful in international Grand Prix competitions. Via the Thoroughbred Chinatown xx, the line goes back to the direct mare line of the great Argentinus.
