Modern and with a lot of charm, Benedetto Ragazzo already knew how to put himself in the spotlight in 2019 at the Southern German Championships in Nördlingen and became Vice Champion of 3-year-old riding horse stallions. For his sporting successes, he was awarded the title of "DSP Premium Stallion" at the Munich licensing in January 2019. As a five- and six-year-old, Benedetto Ragazzo qualified for the Bundeschampionat and has been able to achieve victories and placings in medium (M**) level dressage competitions in 2021 in line with his age. In his performance test, his character and temperament, willingness to perform and rideability under the outside rider were rated 9.0. He received a score of 8.5 for his sublime trot that swings well through the body with good thrust from the hindquarters, his powerful uphill canter and his jumping ability. His very typey foals qualified for the Foal Championships several times and placed in the final ring.
His sire Bombastic was the 2017 Verband Champion and Southern German Champion of six-year-old dressage horses and was awarded DSP Premium Stallion for these successes. The granddam Prime Time produced the 2016 Schaufenster der Besten licensing winner and two-time Southern German Champion Don Royal. The great-granddam produced the licensed stallions Frühtau and Caprigold as well as the great Poesie I by Brentano II.
Benedetto Ragazzo represents the famous Neustadt P-family, out of which come, among others, the licensed stallions Quaterback, Belantis, Samba Hit I-V, Belantis and the licensing winner of the Schaufenster der Besten 2018, Quinoa, as well as numerous sport horses such as the Bundeschampioness and World Champion Poetin I.
